Outreach

Caring for Durham and Beyond in Christ

As a congregation, we are engaged in ministry to others in many, many ways, within our community in Durham, and more widely across the United States and the world.

With a commitment not only to financial outreach support, but to putting our minds and bodies to work in the world, TAPC is mission-oriented and outreach-focused.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and your gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.”
Matthew 25: 35 -36.

I love Reality Ministries' community spirit that says, ‘There is always room for one more at the table.’ Partnering with Reality fills me with joy, full of God's blessing.

Serving meals at Urban Ministries has taught me patience in the things I do, an understanding of the needs of others, and appreciation for what God provides.

Being a part of a re-entry team has been a great honor and privilege. It has been a place of trust, authenticity, and growth for not only me and our partners as individuals, but for the group as a whole.
