Join us as we journey through this Lenten season in celebration of life and living amidst our awareness of death and dying. With Sunday morning worship centering on scriptures and songs often encountered at memorial services, and a congregational study on the book Being Mortal, we will ready our hearts for Easter by examining what in our lives might be laid to rest to make room for the new thing that is forever coming to life within and around us in Christ Jesus.

This Lent, you are invited to stay after Sunday worship for an exploration of Atul Gawande’s book, Being Mortal, with Pastor Katie Crowe. We’ll explore the sacred intersection of life purpose and end-of-life care, discussing everything from advance directives to the deep work of meaning-making.
As part of our time together, we will create a “To-Go Box,” a collection of vital documents and plans needed for the future. It is a simple, practical way to package your wishes, offering a roadmap of peace for those you love and those who love you most.

Gather with Pastor Katie Crowe in the parlor for a discussion of the book, Being Mortal, by Atul Gawande. This book discussion corresponds with her "Being Mortal" Sunday School series (see above event listing). Bring your reflections from the Lenten Study for a time of conversation and prayer around life, grief, surrender, and resurrection hope. (Having attended the Sunday School class on this book is NOT required for this evening discussion.)

What does faith ask of us in moments of overwhelming crisis? How do we pray, act, and remain human when the injustice and urgency of this moment presses in from all sides?
Join us for a six-week study of For Such a Time As This: An Emergency Devotional by theologian Hanna Reichel. Offering brief, incisive reflections that connect Scripture, public life, and the demands of faithful witness, it is honest, challenging, and deeply grounded in hope. Whether you're feeling weary, activated, uncertain, or searching for your path, you are warmly invited to participate (you don't have to do any reading beforehand). Come ready to listen, reflect, and discern together what faithfulness looks like for such a time as this.
