TAPC Reads Discussion: The Briar's Club

TAPC's Carol van Hise will lead a discussion on The Briar Club (2024) by Kate Quinn (432 pages). Set in 1950s Washington DC, the story follows 5 women residing in a boarding house. Part mystery, part character study, it captures the paranoia of the McCarthy era and evokes the changing roles for women in postwar America.
