Outreach
“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and your gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.”
Matthew 25: 35 -36.
As a congregation, we are engaged in ministry to others in many, many ways, within our community in Durham, and more widely across the United States and the world. With a commitment not only to financial outreach support, but to putting our minds and bodies to work in the world, TAPC is mission-oriented and outreach-focused. Children, youth and adults are invited to participate in outreach activities such as singing to the homebound, building Habitat Houses, assembling valentines for a local preschool and participating in Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Team trips.
