Welcome to
Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church
Durham, North Carolina
Trinity Avenue is a vibrant and growing congregation that seeks to joyfully worship and serve God.
Come and worship with us and hear how the Word is calling you to TELL the good news.
The Rev. Ron McMenamin will be joining our congregation on September 1 as our Temporary Interim Pastor. Ron and his wife, JoAnne, now live in Willow Spring, NC. Ron will serve Trinity Avenue until we call our long-term interim pastor, a period which may last a couple of months.
Our annual Open House will be held during the Sunday School hour. This is our kickoff celebration for the new Sunday School year and other Church programs. Enjoy good food and fellowship in the Fellowship Hall at 9:45. Please bring a brunch item to share. Coffee and juice will be provided.
Join us for a night of food, fellowship, and worship at our Wednesday evening dinner program. Dinner is $5 for ages 11 to adult, $2 for ages 4 to 10, and free for ages 3 and under (with maximum of $15 per family). Sign up on the friendship pad or by calling the church office (682-3865). Come to the Fellowship Hall for a "Lisa-licious" meal at 5:30pm, followed by a worship service or program at 6:15pm.
The next Blood Drive will be held on Sunday, October 17 from 9am to 1:30pm in Sloan Hall. Please contact Cathy Perry at 393-2222 or email hperry001@nc.rr.com to volunteer to help or donate.
The Firsthand Faith Sunday School class invites you to join us this summer as we discuss Barbara Brown Taylor’s book, "An Altar in the World: A Geography of Faith," in an effort to learn more about (and become better at practicing) various spiritual disciplines. Our class meets on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 10:45 in the last classroom on the left of the second floor Sunday School hall. Feel free to come as often or as seldom as your schedule allows. Contact for more info: Jenni Albright.
