LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!
We strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can play and learn about God.  We are staffed with four experienced childcare workers.   Parent volunteers help out during the 11:00 service once or twice every three months.  We ask that each family fill out a registration form and notify us of any health concerns or behavioral issues.  Each parent is also asked to sign their child in each Sunday and leave a cell number where we can reach you if necessary.  Remember to put your cell phones on vibrate!

Infants:  We have a nursery for our 6-week old through one year olds.  The nursery is staffed with one childcare worker and parent volunteers during the 11:00 service.  Please mark all bottles, bags, pacifiers, or blankets that your child brings.  Leave any special instructions about your child.

Crawler Room:  Once your baby becomes mobile, we move them to the Crawler Room.  This room has new walkers to age 2.  Our Crawler Room has one childcare worker and parent volunteers during the 11:00 service.  We will offer a snack of Cheerios each morning.  We find this easier than having everyone bring a different snack.  Please send a sippy cup filled with a beverage for your child.  Mark all bags, sippy cups, blankets, or animals with your child’s name.  Be sure to sign your child in each Sunday and leave any special instructions.

Two Year Old:  Our two year old room also has one childcare worker and parent volunteers for the 11:00 service.  The two year olds participate in a bible story during the Sunday school hour and often make a craft.  We provide snack and juice each morning.  We take the children to the playground on nice days for supervised play.  Please mark any belongings with your child’s name.

Three and Four Year Olds:  Our three and four year olds follow the Sunday School curriculum Walk With Me.  They have a bible study each morning followed by a craft or other activity.  The 3 & 4’s go outside on the playground on nice days.  The class has a childcare worker, and either Sunday school teachers or parent volunteers.  We provide a snack.

Elementary-Age Children:  Our elementary aged children follow the Walk With Me curriculum. It is our goal at TAPC to provide children with biblically based learning experiences in a safe and loving environment and to communicate love, trust and forgiveness through the message of God’s word.  The Sunday school classes are divided up in the following age groups:

Kindergarten and first grade
Second and third grade
Third and fourth grade

We begin the Sunday school hour with “Music and Missions” in the Resource Room at 9:45.  During this time, the children will hear about the ongoing mission project, collect offering, celebrate birthdays, hear announcements, and sing songs.  The teachers will then take their class to their Sunday school rooms.  Parents should pick up their child from Sunday school at 10:45.

PLEASE REGISTER YOUR CHILD BY FILLING OUT THE SUNDAY SCHOOL REGISTRATION  FORM AND RETURNING IT TO SLOAN IN THE EDUCATION WING.
