Backpack Buddies Food Drive

The Circle of Hope is sponsoring a Food Drive for The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Backpack Buddies Program. This program fills 625 backpacks with healthy food on weekends for food insecure children. We would like to help stock the shelves with our church-wide food drive. This program provides child friendly, nutritious food to children in need in the Durham community. We need your help! We’ll be placing brown grocery bags with fliers attached to them explaining the types of items needed in the Carr Narthex. Please pick up a bag and fill it with one or more of the suggested food items.

Disciple study of the book of Romans

The study of Romans will begin in late February, lasting eight weeks. If you’re interested in participating, contact Jim at 477-4229 or jimrkinney@aol.com

Primetimers, Thursday, February 18th

11:00am in the Fellowship Hall. They are privileged to have as their speaker, Ali Breisch, a Physician Assistant Consultant, who recently retired from Duke. Her topic will be “Ask the Right Questions, Be Your Own Advocate”.
