† A group of men cooked and served breakfast on Mother's Day!
† The Fall Festival will be held on October 17th. We'll be helping to sponsor rooms for Housing for New Hope.
† We'll be soon looking at building another Habitat Home. We're just waiting on some co-sponsors.
† There's a group of people who meet on Wednesday morning at the church to help paint and fix. Call Jim Petrea or show up.
† 26 TAPC youth have served on mission trip teams in the last 3 years, and nearly all of them have served on more than one trip!
† Over forty youth and adults participated in last November's Rake N Run! Five teams scattered across Durham and raked 20 lawns!
† There are at least 10 concrete ways to be involved in TAPC's youth ministry. How are you being called to offer your time, talents, and resources? Email Nathan.
† Twenty-three of our members are finishing up year-long studies of the Bible and theology. These groups have met faithfully each week from September through May, dedicating considerable time and energy to learning more about our faith. Consider joining a Disciple group next year.
† A group gathered each of the Wednesday evenings in May to pray for our church and for its members and friends.
† Children’s Ministry gave a check for $1000 to the downtown Head Start center. The money was raised through a casserole and bake sale and Sunday school offering.

This year's theme is "Kingdom of the Son: A Prayer Safari" with lots of great games, crafts and songs. If you are interested in helping at VBS (planning, teaching, or just volunteering a couple of hours that week), please contact Caroline Armacost, 493-1890 or email. For some of our art projects, we need empty oatmeal canisters and small plastic containers (frosting or icing containers, nut containers, etc). We do not need lids. Thanks for your help. Please bring these items to Sloan’s office anytime between now and mid-June.
